Chamonix swimming pool : everything you need to know

If you want your holidays to combine well-being and physical activity, there is nothing better than a fun, relaxing stay in the mountain. Be it in summer or in winter, the Chamonix Swimming Pool welcomes you for a well-deserved, soothing soak or for an invigorating swim. It features a 25 m (82 ft) indoor pool and a 50 m (164 ft) outdoor one to accommodate all preferences. Adults and children alike will love splashing around and using the many accessories and options the Chamonix Pool has to offer.

In the indoor area, you will discover a wild water river, a waterfall, massage jets to help you relax, a sun beach as well as an open access hammam, jacuzzi and sauna.

Outdoors, you will find a paddling pool, complete with fun set-ups for the kids such as a three-track slide (Pentaglisse). A relaxation area also awaits you to provide a moment of bliss to enjoy as a family, as a couple, or with a group of friends.

If you are staying at the Morgane Hotel for the duration of your skiing holiday or for your summer break in the mountain, the Chamonix Swimming Pool will only be a few miles away. Of course, if you are looking for a more intimate experience or wish to take advantage of a bespoke beauty treatment, you can always stop by your 4-star hotel spa. A pampering session awaits you there amid a sublime view of the Mont Blanc.

WHAT IS THE CHAMONIX SWIMMING POOL TIMETABLE?

The Chamonix Swimming Pool is open from December to June, from Monday to Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. At weekends, you can access the indoor and outdoor pools from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Be sure to note that the Chamonix Swimming Pool is closed on the 1st of May and from the 5th of May (in the evening) until the 20th of May (included) for technical reasons.

 

PRICES

If you wish to take advantage of Chamonix’s swimming pool, the following prices* apply:

  • Adults: €5.20
  • Children: €3.60
  • Family card : €50

*Prices may be changed without notice

Please note that children under the age of 6 can come to the swimming pool for free and that children prices apply between the ages of 6 and 18.

Every other service Chamonix’s pool offers is also open to the public based on the same timetable. You will simply need to let the cashier know which ones you wish to enjoy so you can purchase the appropriate ticket. For example, a ticket that gives you access to the pool/sauna/hammam is €14 for an adult and €9.80 for young visitors.

The Jardin d’Eau (water garden – for toddlers between 6 months and 3 years of age) is open on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. and costs €10.90 a session. For the Petits Poissons (little fish – for children aged 3–5), sessions are on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and are priced at €10.90 per session.
